Today is St. Patti’s day, and while not a real holiday here in the states, it is a fun day filled with mischief, green beer and…well the same old stuff on any other day. This morning we woke up to a few pranks the Leprechauns had pulled. They toilet papered the bathroom, turned over chairs and tossed pillows about, but they left gold coins behind, only chocolate, but I am hoping next year they are real gold. The kids woke up to the mischief, and of course my 13 year old said “Mom, when did you have the time to do this, I came up at 3am to let the dogs out and it wasn’t like this.” I of course promptly stated that I had nothing to do with it, the Leprechauns made the mess. With a flip of the hair and a chuckle she walked away…makes me sad to think she is getting so old. Will on the other hand just plays along with everything and was excited to tell his friends, and of course gobble down as much chocolate as possible before heading to school.
At work, my friend Brandy brought in some props so we decided to take a few pictures. Today I am 25 weeks, so we had to do a few with the baby, he is already creating mischief of his own. All in all a fun day, I love these tiny moments in time, they make me appreciate all that I have.
